WHO IS STEVEN?

I grew up in a big, lively family where every gathering felt like an event. The kitchen was our heart. I spent my childhood baking alongside my mother and grandmother, learning their recipes and soaking in their love for feeding people. I loved watching family and friends light up as they enjoyed our desserts. That joy, that shared experience, is where my love of service was truly born. It taught me early on that creating something for others is one of the most powerful ways to connect.
That early love for hospitality led me to begin my professional career in the hotel world, working in luxury properties like the Park Hyatt Philadelphia. There, I learned the foundations of service, storytelling, and creating memorable guest experiences. That passion has only deepened, and today I am blending everything I have learned into the evolving world of experiential hospitality, where connection, intention, and impact come first.
For more than a decade, I produced events that brought thousands together, from high-profile galas in New York City to leading the team that produced the New York City Wine and Food Festival. I have had the privilege of working with incredible talent and iconic brands including Michael Kors, VOGUE, Aerin Lauder, Calvin Klein, Neil Patrick Harris, Lea Michele, and New Kids on the Block. Each collaboration deepened my appreciation for the power of meaningful experiences.
As a member of the senior team at God’s Love We Deliver, I oversaw volunteer operations, fostering a sense of community and connection among thousands of supporters. I also led the fundraising events program, using storytelling to bring the mission to life and raise critical funds for those impacted by serious illness. That work showed me the true power of purpose-driven hospitality and how meaningful experiences can heal, inspire, and unite.
In my personal life, I witnessed the struggle firsthand when my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the age of 30. His unwavering passion for life and the deep connections we shared built our relationship on love, honesty, and communication. I cared for him through every moment of his six-year battle, never missing an appointment and always showing up with strength and heart. Together we created a bond and resilience that continues to live within me. That experience, along with other personal losses, shaped me in profound ways. Grief taught me empathy, clarity, and a deeper understanding of what truly matters. It is a powerful thread woven into everything I create and how I choose to show up for others.
Farm in Broome is the natural next chapter of my journey. It is a place rooted in everything I have lived, learned, and loved. It brings together my passion for hospitality, my belief in meaningful connection, and the lessons shaped by both joy and loss. This space is for everyone. A place to connect with nature and each other, to discover new perspectives, to grow through shared experiences, to share stories and meals, and to lead with love. Farm in Broome is not just a destination. It is a feeling, a gathering ground, and a reflection of what happens when we slow down, come together, and create something meaningful.
