🍂 November 2025 🍂
Hey Growers,
It’s easy to see the photos and think life on the farm is all sunshine, happy animals, and peaceful moments. But the truth is, it’s not always easy. It can be lonely, challenging, and everything seems to take longer than expected.
There are days when the work feels endless, when I find myself wondering how to keep water flowing through the winter, how to keep the animals safe, and how to stay warm myself.
I’m deeply grateful for the family and friends who come to help, for the laughter, the shared meals, and the hands that lift and build beside me. But when everyone heads home and the night settles in, it’s just me here, still figuring it all out.
Even on the hardest days, I remind myself that this is the dream. I’m building something that doesn’t yet exist. A place where people can come to connect, to heal, and to remember what really matters. And though there are tears, I’ve learned they have a purpose. They water the ground so something beautiful can grow.
As the season changes, I’m reminded that rest is part of the work too. The earth is slowing down now, preparing for the next season of growth. The fields are quiet, the animals move more slowly, and I’m trying to do the same. To breathe, to look back on how far things have come, and to make space for what’s ahead.
Rest isn’t giving up. It’s grounding. It’s what allows us to keep going. Just like the soil beneath the frost, there is life here waiting, preparing, becoming.
This month, I’m leaning into that truth. To rest. To reflect. To trust that even in stillness, things are growing.
Rest. Reflect. Grow.

Rooted in Kindness:
A Different Kind of Holiday Giving 💛
As the holidays approach, I’m inviting everyone to celebrate the season a little differently this year. Rooted in Kindness is our way of giving gifts that live on, gifts that grow, shelter, and bring joy long after the wrapping paper is gone.
Each gift helps create something lasting here at the farm. You can dedicate a birdhouse in the meadow, a chair beneath the trees, a tree in the orchard, or treats for the animals. Every gift is made in honor or memory of someone special and becomes part of the living story of Farm in Broome.
When you give, you’ll receive a personalized thank you letter that can be shared with the person you’re honoring. We’ll also celebrate their name on social media so others can feel the ripple of that kindness too.
These gifts are more than your typical holiday present. They are tributes that connect people, land, and memory, small acts of love rooted in the earth for others to discover and grow from.

Chair Beneath the Trees
$350.00 USD
A place of rest dedicated in someone’s name. Their story will live in the stillness of the seat as visitors pause, breathe, and take in the view. In every moment of rest, their presence lingers like shade on a warm day.

Birdhouse in the Meadow
$85.00 USD
A small shelter placed in honor of someone loved. Their name rests gently on the wood while birds find safety beneath it. Each flutter of wings becomes a quiet echo of their spirit and a reminder that kindness can become a home.
